It’s not that they don’t understand, or don’t know, it’s that they don’t WANT to know, or understand, or even consider that what people are protesting is real. It’s easier to focus on the damage of a building than the damage of injustice. If you are still explaining it’s not because you need too, it because they want you to slip up and then justify their view. They don’t understand it because they don’t live it, they don’t fear it, they can’t see things being THAT un-equal.
So let them focus on black on black crime even though they have groups and communities pushing for change in those communities. Let them focus on the burnings even though every city in the US can say they have had way more peaceful protests than violent ones. Let them focus on the victims past even though that has nothing to do with why, where, or how they died. Allow them to blame Obama, even though his family was depicted as monkeys while he was in the White House. Let them put every issue on BLM even though they KNOW full well, you can’t blame the whole because of a few(like cops). It’s ok if they claim BLM only cares about black lives, even though they have supported many of all races in injustice battles. Let them blame the media, while they choose to only listen to the media that justifies their opinion.
So go home stop protesting... because America doesn’t want to hear you. She doesn’t want to change. She doesn’t want to believe in racism like she believes in child molesters. She doesn’t want to hear in equality like she hears Islam is trying to kill her. She doesn’t want to hear about sexism like she hears about abortion. She doesn’t want to hear about YOU.

SMH... I’m tired... if I say anything I’m racist for pointing out racism... I’m pushing for inequality for trying to get real equality... if I support BLM I must hate everyone else... if I point out freedom of religion, I’m not Christian... if I’m not Christian I must support terrorist... if I don’t like Trump, I hate America... if I don’t support guns, I’m trying to take them away... if I point out bad cops, I must hate ALL cops... if I protest then I must be a jobless bottom feeder...

They didn’t fight for change in the 60’s for it to stop at, “well it’s not slavery but it’s not EQUAL” level... most knew they wouldn’t see the fruits of their labor... most know now they won’t, but they still fight because the can still see a BETTER America... none of us wants to see America become stagnant... but I just hope some of you can see EXACTLY what you are “fighting against” in the long run... because something is GOING to change... question is will it be for the better?
